We battle against the evil in this world, the injustice, corruption and perversity. We battle sickness and disease. We fight against sin.
At times these battles can seem so overwhelming, so beyond us, but we need to remember that, as God’s people, His children, the battle is not ours, but the Lord’s. Our victory is in Him who conquered sin and death, Jesus who rose victorious.
As we can see time and again throughout Scripture, our God is a mighty warrior who fights for us. So how should we approach the battles that we face in life? The story of Jehoshaphat gives us a good example to follow.
