Knowing Jesus’ Voice

Knowing Jesus voice requires spending time daily in the Word. The more time we spend in His Word the more readily we will recognise His voice and be able to discern those voices which are not His. Jesus says “I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and my own know me…” As we Journey into Easter listen for Jesus’ voice. He is the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for our sake. Take time to get to know His voice so that you will not be led astray, but rather you will hear and obey every word that He speaks to you in your life.

God has called us out from the darkness into His marvellous light. He has chosen us. He has called us His own. He has set us apart as a holy nation and He has raised us to be a royal priesthood. This in order for us to declare His glory, His excellencies, to reflect His light, for Him to shine in us.

What a Friend We Have in Jesus

For Joseph Scriven, Jesus was not just his Lord and Saviour. Jesus was his friend. A close companion in the times of sorrow. A friend he could always go to with all the worries and cares of his life. A friend who helped him to resist temptation. A friend who would carry him when he wasn’t strong enough. Jesus was a friend who was there even if no one else was. Can it be true? That Jesus wants to be our friend?
