Our Father

Jesus came and brought a new dimension to our relationship with God. He demonstrated a relationship with His heavenly Father both intimate and reverential. Not only that, Jesus made it possible for us to enter into this relationship with God. For in Christ, who died for our sin and rose again, we are brought into right relationship with God.  This is why, when Jesus teaches His disciples how they should pray He begins, “Our Father…”

The Battle is the Lord’s

At times these battles can seem so overwhelming, so beyond us, but we need to remember that, as God’s people, His children, the battle is not ours, but the Lord’s. Our victory is in Him who conquered sin and death, Jesus who rose victorious. As we can see time and again throughout Scripture, our God is a mighty warrior who fights for us. So how should we approach the battles that we face in life? The story of Jehoshaphat gives us a good example to follow.
