Fear can have a large impact on our lives. It can hold us back. It can, over time, start to control us. Fear can hinder us in our walk with the Lord. Confession, repentance, growing in holiness, following in faith these are all essential parts of our journey as believers and if we allow it fear can deny us in this pursuit.

Bad things happen to good people, but don’t be afraid because your Heavenly Father has the final say. Don’t be afraid, don’t be consumed with worry, or panic, when things go pear shaped because as a child of God you know that your Heavenly Father’s will holds sway. Jesus doesn’t sugar coat stuff. He tells us straight up that there’s going to be tough times in this life, bad times are going to come upon us, and yet our peace in those times is in Him, because He is our victor. He has even overcome the worst-case scenario, death.
