The Invaluable Benefit of Spiritual Maturity

 

How would you describe the current state of your spiritual life? Our relationship with God is the most valuable thing we have on planet earth – and it’s important that we invest time and effort in it since the more you get to know someone the richer the relationship will grow. One way that we neglect our relationship with God is through the broadening of our understanding of Theology: “The study of God and of God’s relation to the world.” The more we learn about God and the deeper our knowledge about Him grows, the better we will be able to face this life on planet earth before moving into eternity with Him.

Keeping Jesus Central

 

The most iconic Christian Christmas image is without a doubt the nativity or manger scene. There’s the barn and a star, and then there’s always the same set of characters – the angels, and Mary, and Joseph, and the Wise Men, and the shepherds, and baby Jesus is always at the centre of the manger scene; and that’s simply because that’s exactly where Jesus belongs. All the other characters point to Him. Christmas is all about Jesus. He is the reason for the season.
