What do you anticipate being your greatest joy when you finally enter into Heaven? Will it be seeing the friends and family that have gone before you, will it be the joy of knowing you are in the presence of the Lord? One of the greatest joys will be the opportunity to Worship King Jesus in His Presence.

The Apostle Paul wrote “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in Heaven, and of those on Earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” Philippians 2:9-11

Songs have been written and pictures have been painted of what it will be like when we are all in Heaven. Some have expressed it as either a House on the Hill or a mansion in the Sky. Others have talked about streets of gold and walls adorned with precious jewels. Still, others have focused upon their reunion with our Loved ones, and all these things are precious truths.

But when you mediate on all that God has done for us through the life of the Lord Jesus, nothing in Heaven will be more honourable than worshiping King Jesus. The Bible says that in Heaven, “every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ, to the Glory of God the Father” Phil: 2: 10 – 11. Far above every other experience or expectation will be the joy of seeing our Savior face to face.

So many are going through difficult times in the Lockdown with the loss of loved ones and the affect it has had on the World economy. The journey is not over but despite this we know our final destination and it WILL BE WORTH IT ALL when we see Him Face to Face.

Many years ago, a woman by the name of Esther Kerr Rusthoi wrote the hymn “It Will Be Worth It All. Think about the the first verse: It will be worth it all when we see Jesus, Life’s trials will seem so small when we see Christ; One glimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase, So bravely run the race till we see Christ.

Gods Word teaches us that for the last two thousand plus years, Jesus has been preparing a home for us in Heaven. No doubt the streets of gold will be magnificent, and seeing and Hugging our Loved ones will be very precious, but somewhere during our grand celebration, our attention will be directed to the One who made it all possible – Jesus
“One glimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase, So bravely run the race till we see Christ”

I have spoken to several Family and Friends in these past weeks that have been affected by Covid and the Lockdown issues and it does seem that we are in for a long journey. But lets keep our focus on the One true God that has seen many of His own suffer and go through hardships but He Has “Never left us or forsaken us” Hebrews 13:5.

Another verse to the song that reminds us of this:

“Oft times the day seems long, our trials hard to bear,
We’re tempted to complain, to murmur and despair;
But Christ will soon appear to catch His Bride away,
All tears forever over in God’s eternal day”

SING IT WITH ME:
It will be worth it all when we see Jesus,
Life’s trials will seem so small when we see Christ;
One glimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase,
So bravely run the race till we see Christ.
Life’s day will soon be o’er, all storms forever past,
We’ll cross the great divide, to glory, safe at last;
And we’ll all share the joys of Heaven – a Harp, a Home, a Crown,
The tempter will be banished, we’ll lay our burden down.
IT WILL BE WORTH IT ALL when we see Jesus,
Life’s trials will seem so small when we see Christ;
One glimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase,
So bravely run the race till we see Christ.
One glimpse of His dear face all sorrow will erase,
So bravely run the race till we see Christ.
Till we see Christ.

Have a wonderful, blessed day. In the Love of the Lord Jesus,
John and Barbara
